Tennis in the United States is played on three kinds of places: public park courts run by a city or county, member clubs and country clubs with their own pros and leagues, and commercial tennis centers that sell court time by the hour. Public courts are usually free and first come, first served, with a posted limit (often 60-90 minutes when others are waiting); busier cities run online reservation systems with a small fee and a permit for the season. Indoor courts are rented by the hour and booked days ahead in winter. Most facilities are hard courts; clay is common in the Southeast and at private clubs, and grass is rare. Lights extend play into the evening at many parks, sometimes with a coin or app-operated switch.

Location is prime, but building itself needs a whole lot of renovation. It looks like the ceiling is going to cave in some areas and has leaks. Kinda scary. There is not enough parking right underneath the building so if all the spaces are taken, you have to park around the corner in a shared underground parking area and walk back to the hotel. Our mini fridge was not cool at all. We were informed that you have to keep resetting it after so many hours. Not convenient at all. If you're out for the day, your food will spoil. For the price you pay it is definitely not the experience I was hoping for. Coffee in the room is horrible. Glad there was a Starbucks downstairs. I will say that maintenance was there very quick when we called about our issue and the breakfast at the restaurant downstairs was fresh and yummy.

Prepaid back in March, was charged a second time upon checking in bc there has been a new system for over a month and the staff still don’t know how to properly use it. Now I have an extra 600$ charge waiting to fall off from my bank. Came on vacation and you guys tied up my extra spending money on your error. Completely not fair to me. The entire hotel stinks, it’s not pleasant. The furniture is old and worn down. Fridge smells like mold. Toilet barely flushes. Sink handles wasn’t washed. Definitely will not be returning! Run down like a dirty motel.

UPDATE: I did speak to the GM and she has assisted with the refund from the pre-payment which I greatly appreciate. My family and I stayed here because we were in town for a concert for 1 night. We pre-paid for the hotel about a month in advance. When we went to check in, instead of just a hold on our card, we were charged again for the reservation. Unfortunately, our air conditioning in the room did not work but we did not realize this until we returned from the concert around 11pm and by that time it was too late to switch rooms. Our mini fridge also didn't work so the ice cream that we purchased in the lobby, melted. Upon check out the next morning, we informed the receptionist and she stated that she would not be charging us for parking or the room. We were told that we wouldn't see a charge. Two days later, our card was charged and I had to call and speak to accounting and they reversed the second charge and said it was a system error. When I inquired about when I would be refunded for our pre-pay, I was told that that front office manager would need to handle that and give me a letter to take to my credit card company to get our money back. I received an email 1 day later fro
